Jan has just been living with the Indonesian rice farmers, the subject of her latest book, CYCLE OF RICE, CYCLE OF LIFE, with publisher Lee and Low, to illustrate how these people have been farming and living SUSTAINABLY for over 1000 years without causing detriment to their environment. Video and teaching guide about the rice farmers and SUSTAINABILITY will be presented by Jan, and available free on the web.
